This ,rarest Animal (creature) in the World, subspecies was originally described in 1877 by German-born British herpetologist Albert Günther, who named it Testudo abingdonii, a new species, in his book The Gigantic Land-tortoises (Living and Extinct) in the Collection of the British Museum

Currently, researchers are trying to George to mate. Have not found a female Pinta Island tortoise (if you found one, the reward is $ 10,000). Instead, they are trying to get him to mate with some other Galapagos tortoises a different subspecies. In this way, even if the children would not be purebred Pinta Island tortoise, at least some of the genes would be passed on to George.

Such is the case of Old Tjikko, Norway spruce (Picea Abies) growth in Sweden were estimated for 9550 years. But even that pales in comparison to the old clonal group of trembling aspen (Populus tremuloides) in Utah - Genetic tests have revealed that the small forest of cloning, called Pando, about 80,000 years. The weight is considered as a single organism, it is estimated that more than 6,000 tons, making it one of the oldest living things on earth, but also the heaviest.

2013 Honda CRF250R Review,Pictures and Specs

2013 Honda CRF250R
About Honda CRF Motocross- Information and Reviews along with Images
The Honda CRF series is a line of four-stroke motocross and trail motorcycles manufactured and marketed by Honda..The CRF line was launched in 2002 as a successor to the Honda XR series. The full sized motocross bikes are equipped with a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke engines that are available from 149 cc to 449 cc. They now have dual-sport bike. The path friendlier CRF have simple air-cooled engines, and are available from 50 cc to 230 cc. The CRF450R Honda was the first in the series, followed with the CRF250R 2004. .
 Honda CRF250R 2013 Introduction
The 2012 version was already tops among its class; in fact, we liked it so much that it won our five-bike comparison test last year rather easily. We were impressed by its broad, electric-like powerband, cushy suspension, solid handling, great cornering capabilities and overall light feeling. Throw in other great qualities like a light clutch pull, outstanding brakes, pleasing ergos and quality of craftsmanship by which all other bike are judged, and you have a shootout winner, not to mention two Lites Supercross titles. So, it doesn't surprise us at all that Honda made only a few, though noteworthy, changes to its latest midsize motocrosser.

2013 Honda CRF250R
Honda CRF250R 2013 Motocross is presented to the media in Lake Elsinore Raceway, site of the final round of next week's Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross prvenstvo.Skladbo can get quite choppy and hard-packed and very fast, making it a great place to wring out the engine. Jumping is very lofty, and most plants are fast and sweeping.

The suspensions receiving considerable interest in 2013. The 48mm Showa cartridge fork now has stiffer springs, new valves and a larger diameter sub-stamp (increased from 35mm to 37mm), which Honda claims enhances low-speed recording, resulting in better performance and feel of the smaller bumps.
The Showa rear damper high speed adjustment bolt seat increases in diameter from 9.5 mm to 11.5 mm, which in turn improves the Honda said damping. Honda is equipped with Dunlop Geomax MX51FA (front) and MX51 (rear) tires designed specifically for the CRF250R and can only be purchased through a Honda dealer. The rear tire is said that Honda says lighter unsprung weight reduces by 0.9 pounds, which is significant. The belt is made of a special material.

The motor didn't get completely ignored. Its Programmed Fuel-Injection system (PGM-FI), which a 46mm throttle body, features new mapping specs designed to give the engine a "bigger hit and more response in the low-end and midrange." Otherwise, Honda left the liquid-cooled four-valve Unicam 249cc motor alone.

In short, the new Honda feels a little as did last year, which is not a bad thing at all. In fact, we were probably relieved, more than anything. We liked the engine so last year, we ... Well, hopefully they mess - and they have not. Phew!
We could detect, however, a little more meat in the middle of the power curve, which seemed actually did improve the general atmosphere of the engine. It still pulls hard from the bottom and about the same on top but it has a little more punch in the middle, and we agree with that. Sure, it could use a little more traction on the top, but what can not 250F?

2013 Honda CRF250R
Suzuki RMZ250
Unlike the Suzuki RM-Z250 and KX250F Kawasaki, Honda has not interchangeable couplers to make adjustments quick and easy mapping, which is a kind of a bummer, but the engine works so well in the state, we don ' have never felt the need to make changes anyway, despite the track Lake Elsinore transform silt moist to dry-pack had during our day at the beach.
Honda still feels lightweight (claimed weight is 227 lbs.) And is ridiculously handy both on the ground and in the air. It is still one of the most motorcrosser that inspires confidence that we have ever ridden. You get it and you just want to ride hard and ride fast. And you can do it for a long time too, because it is so easy to drive and responsive. It requires little to compel him to do what you want it to do.
The tester at expert level welcomed stiffer fork springs, which, according to him, does a better job absorbing hard landings while feeling quite flexible on smaller bumps.

The new Dunlop tires are loved. They saw all the wet mud, beaten to wet, dry and smooth, and they played beautifully on all of them, especially at the front. The seem to be a pair of traffic around handles.
And probably the best part of the new 2013 CRF250R is that it costs the same as last year at $ 7,420. We still have a lot of testing to do on the new CRF250R, but for now, it seems that Honda, which has only a few changes to the'' 13, made all the right choices.
